Consulting Intern (m/w/d)

What you will work on

Create climate strategies for cities all across Germany (and soon internationally)

As our Consulting Intern (all genders), you will play a pivotal role in supporting local governments on their path to climate neutrality. We are looking for an experienced and proactive consultant with a passion for sustainability and the skills to develop and implement climate action plans tailored to the unique needs of municipalities.

You will be a trusted partner to public stakeholders, enabling them to execute renewable energy projects, enhance energy efficiency, and foster sustainable urban mobility.

Your challenge:

• Climate consulting: Lead exciting projects that help cities, organizations, and communities achieve climate goals like reducing emissions and saving energy.
• Prepare client proposals: Independently prepare compelling client proposals and win new projects.
• Analyze and Solve: Use data and practical tools to understand for example energy use and suggest simple, effective ways to make a positive impact.
• Engage and Collaborate: Work with local leaders, businesses, and residents to build support for climate solutions through meetings, workshops, and clear communication. You are the number 1 contact person for our strategy clients.
• Digitize: Work close with our product team to develop tools which help you serve more clients, e.g., automated carbon accounting or AI-generated final reports

• Versatile Skillset: First experience in startups, consulting, strategy, or operations, with a strong ability to adapt and learn quickly.
• Climate Passion: You possess a deep understanding of climate policy, renewable energy, or urban sustainability, or an insatiable curiosity and proven ability to quickly learn complex, unfamiliar topics.
• Analytical Excellence: Highly analytical and detail-oriented, you excel at breaking down intricate problems into actionable insights and data-driven solutions. You are experienced in using xsl / google sheets and ppt / google slides
• Project Management Excellence: Highly organized and adept at juggling multiple responsibilities, you have a proven track record in project management and stakeholder alignment, ensuring seamless execution and collaboration.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: You can thrive in a fast-paced startup setting, embracing limited resources as an opportunity to innovate. Your hands-on approach and proactive mindset make you a natural problem-solver.
• Language Proficiency: Exceptional German and English skills are essential. Fluency in German is critical for engaging effectively with local authorities and stakeholders.
