About nexwise
We're building agentic AI that masters product complexity for industrial companies. We've raised our pre-seed round from top-tier angels and VCs and are working with German industrial manufacturers with >€1Bn revenue. Our guided selling AI agents help customers find the right product reliably, and we're building nexus – our product data layer for AI agents across sales, support, marketing and product management.
What you'll do
- Build our agent platform from the ground up: the runtime, interfaces, and core modules for reliable AI agents in enterprise environments
- Develop and ship AI agents end-to-end for customer use cases (guided selling, product expertise) and internal data workflows
- Design agent toolchains: define tools, schemas, permissions, and reusable patterns so agents can safely search, reason, act, and explain
- Turn messy reality into dependable systems by integrating agents with enterprise software and data sources
- Build evaluation, monitoring, and observability for agents: traceability, quality metrics, regression tests, prompt/version management
- Prototype and productionize LLM-powered reasoning and enrichment across product data and workflows
- Collaborate closely with customers and the team to turn ambiguous requirements into shippable agent behavior
You're a great fit if you
- Have built with modern agent frameworks (e.g., LangGraph or similar) and know when to use them vs. rolling your own
- Are fluent in orchestration and tool use – you've implemented multi-step agents and know how to make them predictable and debuggable
- Know how to evaluate and improve agents through testing, evals, instrumentation, and feedback loops
- Are strong in backend engineering: clean APIs, maintainable code, distributed systems basics
- Care deeply about safety and correctness – you build guardrails, permissions, and validation to catch issues before customers do
- Can work with messy data and deliver consistent, queryable output for agents
Nice to have
- Speak German fluently
- Early-stage startup experience
- Located in or willing to relocate to Munich
Compensation
€80,000-€120,000 annually plus 0.5-1.1% equity (VSOP)
